# Filtering & Searching

> How to find items in your inventory using filters, search, and date ranges.

## Search

Use the search bar above the inventory table to find items by name. The table filters as you type, showing only items that match your search term.

## Filter by Status

Use the **Status** filter dropdown to show only items with a specific status:

| Filter       | Shows                            |
| ------------ | -------------------------------- |
| **All** | Every item regardless of status |
| **Unlisted** | Items you own but haven't listed |
| **Listed** | Items currently for sale |
| **Sold** | Items that have been sold |

This is useful for quickly seeing what's active, what's sitting, and what's been moved.

## Filter by Date

The date range picker in the top right filters the inventory table by **acquisition date** — when you added the item to inventory.

Use this to see:

* Everything you acquired this month
* Items from a specific buying trip or drop
* How much capital you deployed in a given period

<Note>
  The date filter uses acquisition date, not sale date. To filter by sale date, use the Dashboard or Performance page instead.
</Note>

## Combining Filters

Filters stack — you can have a status filter and a date filter active at the same time. For example: show only **Listed** items acquired in the **last 30 days** to see your most recent active inventory.

## Clearing Filters

Click the **X** on any active filter chip to remove it, or reset the date range to clear the date filter. The table returns to showing all items.

<Tip>
  Use the Listed + date filter combination regularly to spot items that have been sitting listed for a long time without selling — that's usually a sign the price needs to come down.
