Item-Level Fields
These fields apply to the item as a whole, not to individual units.
| Field | Required | Description |
|---|
| Name | Yes | What the item is. Be descriptive — brand, model, colorway. |
| Brand | No | The brand or manufacturer. Used for filtering and organization. |
| Cost | Yes | What you paid to acquire the item. Used to calculate profit. |
| Acquisition Date | Yes | When you got the item. Used for date filtering and inventory aging. |
| Image | No | A photo of the item. Shown in the table and on your Storefront. |
| Notes | No | Any internal notes — condition, source, reminders. Not visible to buyers. |
Unit-Level Fields
Each unit (one size/quantity) within an item tracks these fields separately:
| Field | Required | Description |
|---|
| Size | Yes | The size or variant of this unit. |
| Quantity | Yes | How many units of this size you have. |
| Listed Price | No | The price you’re asking for this unit when Listed. Shown on Storefront. |
| Status | Yes | Unlisted, Listed, or Sold. Controls visibility and tracking. |
The Cost Field
The cost field represents your cost of goods — what you actually paid for the item. This is the single most important number for calculating profit.
If you bought the same item in multiple sizes at different prices, log them as separate items to keep costs accurate. If you paid the same for all sizes, one item with multiple size rows is fine.
The Listed Price Field
Listed price is what you’re charging buyers. It’s shown on your Storefront and used in your Inventory Value stat.
- If blank, the unit won’t show a price on your Storefront
- You can update it at any time from the detail panel
- It doesn’t affect profit calculations — only the actual sale price does
Notes Field
Use notes for anything you want to remember about an item that isn’t captured elsewhere:
- Where you sourced it
- Condition notes
- Authentication details
- Buyer leads
Notes are internal only — buyers can’t see them.
