The Detail Panel

Opening the Detail Panel

Click any row in the inventory table to open the detail panel on the right side of the screen. The panel slides in without leaving the page, so you can quickly edit and then continue browsing your inventory.

What You Can Do in the Panel

From the detail panel you can:

• Edit the item name, brand, and acquisition date
• Update the cost
• Change the status of any unit
• Set or update the listed price
• Add or edit notes
• Add new units (sizes) to an existing item
• Delete individual units
• Delete the entire item

Editing Fields

All fields in the detail panel are editable inline. Click any field to edit it. Changes are saved automatically — there’s no separate save button to click for most fields.

Updating the Listed Price

The listed price field controls what buyers see on your Storefront. To update it:

1. Open the detail panel for the item
2. Click the price field for the relevant unit
3. Type the new price
4. The Storefront updates immediately

Adding Units to an Existing Item

If you acquire more of the same item after the initial entry, you can add units to the existing item rather than creating a duplicate:

1. Open the item’s detail panel
2. Use the Add Unit option
3. Select the size and enter the quantity

Deleting a Unit

To remove a single unit (e.g. a specific size you no longer have), open the detail panel and use the delete option next to that unit. This is permanent.

Deleting the Entire Item

Use the action menu (three dots) in the detail panel to delete the entire item. This removes the item and all its units permanently.
